OK...I want to be there and cannot...what is going on out there?

70° temps. Not enough wind. (Seriously! Car kicks up dust and the cloud hangs over the track for several minutes)

It's about the announcer. My Mom always told me if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Can I ask what happened to Alan Bolte??? Other than that,it was a fantastic event in all regards. I didn't miss the wind at all. Thanks to all the volunteers and VARA.

Saturday had just a little wind but Sunday was almost calm. Great for me doing the video taping up at turn 4 balcony. High winds blow out the built in microphone on my camcorder, can't here the race cars until their right in front of turn 3 and 4. One group two cars went off in turn 9, one on each side and that created the big dust cloud that hung over the exit of 9 for over a minute on Sunday.
