Pen,
Try contacting Paul at Scuderia Topolino at:

www.scuderiatopolino.com

Let him know that I gave you his info.

I would suggest talking to John Edwards at Costa Mesa R&D

(949) 631-6376

John's a long-time Fiat guy and knows the Fiat 124, 128-X1/9, 600 & 850 engines quite well (and how to tune 'em).

He's also currently sorting out his own 1968 Fiat 850 Sedan for SCCA racing.

I haven't talked to John about it yet, but he'll probably be attending the VARA race this weekend in Fontana,
cruising the lot checking out all the cool cars. Cool

Cheers,
-JS.

Wow - he seems perfect! Thanks for the tip.

Wish I knew about him before I entered into the abject debacle that has been my rebuild experience with the guys who just took five months to do a job that was promised in one (luckily the cost was only 100% over estimate as opposed to the 400% over estimate for the delivery date). And, I just discovered that they also did some un-approved "re-engineering" as well! No biggie, I'm sure two guys with a shop in Orange know better than the guy who designed the chassis for the Muira, Countach, the Pantera, the Ferrari 333SP and all the contemporary Indy cars...

Somebody shoot me . Now.
