Bring your SR2000 out to play

Bring your SR2000 out to play

Postby mbrandt1402 on Sun Sep 13, 2009 9:19 pm

I'm an SCCA racer from the Seattle area. I grew up in the Central Valley & watched my first car races of any sort at Laguna Seca. I'm making a CA trip, as the economy says it is time to sell my Royale (see ad here and the Yuku S2 board) and I can't bear the thought of hanging up the Nomex without driving Laguna, so we're coming down for the SFR regionals Sept 18 thru 20.

We will be back for the CalClub Halloween weekend races at BRP. CalClub still has Club S2, so bring your cars out and let's have a race! This is the final weekend of the 3D Carbon series as well. Bruce Allison has lined up split starts for S2s and the usual turn-out is around 15 cars or so. Sounds like fun to me: lots of S2s, recognition for our older cars (ClubS2), workers in costume, and an opportunity for you guys to put your home-course advantage to work and kick some Seattle butt. Dust off those garage queens and come on out! This could be my last race, make it a memorable one.

"Bueller.....Bueller.....Bueller...."

My straw poll shows 15-17 S2000's will attend this event folks....we'd love to have some more CS2000's involved. Mark's making the 1000 mile tow, come on out!

Everyone is eligible for the purse & sponsor prizes like a GoPro Video system (2 given away by lottery each weekend).

Fun, clean racing....possbily the largest S2 field nationally...VARA licenses accepted!

Don't miss it,
Bruce

I can't believe you guys are going to give me the CS2 lap record for this configuration totally un-contested. Defend your home turf!

Or at least come out and see what I have for sale. All inquiries to date have come from Australia and Germany.
