I am thinking about joining you all at Fontana later this month with my Formula Ford; my question however lies with I recently bought a race prepped 2002 Corvette Z06 (SCCA T-1) and need seat time with it. I know We love VARA has an "Exhibition Group" type class that allows me to run with the big bore production cars; but as I have never raced with VARA and it's been a few years since my father has raced with VARA, I do not know what you all offer/cater to the non-vintage cars/drivers. Is there any classification for my Corvette?

Welcome to VARA. Look forward to meeting you and seeing your FF run. We have a great group of FF driver and nice cars. If you go to our website homepage you will notice the race flyer for our Golden State Classic race on the 18-19 of July. The flyer announces a new VARA run group "Club Racing" for NON-Vintage race prepped production cars (this is where your SCCA T-1 Vette should be able to run. Above the flyer is a hyperlink to the supplemental rules for this new "Club Racing" car class. If you have any other question feel free to post a new note to our safety inspectors or eligibility chairperson.
