Fantastic!

"NEW $695 HANS DEVICE ANNOUNCED"

http://www.motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=276443&FS=

THIS IS GREAT! I'm about to buy one.......

I just used a hans (and schroth hans belts) for the first time during my recent stint on the show Setup. It took a session to get used to the feeling of the device on my shoulders and we had to readjust the seat a bit after the first race. After a short period of awkwardness I never thought about it again.....and no doubt it saves drivers.

The weight I also think is almost a non issue as it is held in-between you and the belts.

This is great news! $695 is still a nice chunk of money but no doubt better than $895!

BTW ? Will head restraints be required next year??
