Hello Geoff, I am an amateur photographer who is at the races with my 2 uncles when they are out racing. Please feel free to take a look at my gallery and should you like any of the photos, please feel free to PM me or email me and I will do my best to get you the prints at a minimal fee. Hello Geoff,

I have more, but I have only uploaded the ones that were the most recent. I normally take pics of my uncles and some other friends who race with VARA. Now that I am getting more use to my camera and the settings, I will be venturing out of the box. I will be purchasing a new lense 50-500mm Telephoto lense in hopes to use it at the next race in April. Then I should be able to get a little closer from the outer part of the infield. Please drop me a line and let me know what class, car and number and I will take some pics of you out on the track. Willow Springs will be fun this time since I will now have more equipment to lug around with me on the little 50. I am hoping to take some more great shots all over the course.

Hello Mark,

Those are some nice looking pictures, what lens were you using? I am buying a Sigma 50-500mm lens this weekend for the next race. I usually shoot with a Tamron 28-300mm lens.

Hi Angel,

Your pictures came out great!

I was shooting using a quantaray 70-300 (which is the same lens as the Sigma 70-300). I can't wait to see your pictures with a 50-500! You should be able to make out whiskers on the drivers with that kind of zoom. What kind of camera body do you use?
