Is the October race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway or Spring Mountain in Pahrump?

 Gee, Kim I thought you might like to go back to Spriing Mountain again. After all doesn't this car carry a little more oil?

Yeah, myself I LOVE Pahrumps track but well understand why it's not a user friendly trip.

What? Its much easier to get to Pahrump than the Las Vegas speedway, less traffic and a lot more scenic. It's a great track for Minis but the speedway would be better for the faster cars.

Pharumph....UMPH....

CONS....... :(

Last time we were there it was 109* in the shade, but there was no shade.
There was no race gas other than 93 and 100 LL.
Limited paddock area.
Low turn out as many folks said it's too far out in left field.
Off road excursions got you in the boulders.

PROS.......
Great buffet dinner at Terribles'......$6.95 as I remember.
Great Wrecking yard just outside of town.

Maybe in a cooler time of the year... and they have made some upgrades as I hear. Driving time is actually longer especially the back way Baker north.

I was confused by someone outside this forum. I was told it was at the Las Vegas Speedway and assumed it would use the speedway oval like Fontana. I have seen the track outside the oval and I have been told that is what will be used, if so that is a great track and I am looking forward to it.
