Because of Wayne Mitchell's knee replacement operation and not having trained anyone else to use the engine tech test program, there will be NO separate FF/CF annual tech for 2008. All FF/CF drivers should take their cars to the VARA annual tech to be held Jan 26, 2008 in Fontana at the California Speedway.

For VARA drivers located in the north, there will also be annual techs being done at the VARA University, scheduled at Buttonwillow on Feb 9th & 10th. It might be best to check with Jerry Bernheimer if you want to do you annual tech on the VARA University weekend.

There may be a FF/CF engine check scheduled later in 2008. So keep your engines legal!
