WHAT A FREAKIN CRAZY WEEKEND!

1st let me send out a big congrats to Gary Shuman (FP #69) on an impressive win! 2:13 fastest lap...DAMN!

2nd let me apologize to Geoff (GP #16) for spinning out in front of you! I tried to hold the line so we could work together to close the gap on Gary and the boys, but couldn't...Maybe next time!

Now just one gripe...I haven't been doing this long, but common sense tells me that NO vintage racing event should use exposed concrete barriers as dividers on the road section. Ok, I got that off my chest...I feel better.

I blew a rod in my engine and trashed my father's red #92 spit...and am actively collecting donations for repairs and driving lessons Mad jk!

Which K-rail are you talking about?

The only thing I saw that was really worrisome were the tire stacks at the end of the straightaway heading into turn 3. Historically, someone has to take the escape road in a big way and putting tires there almost guarantees car damage.

After 16 the majority of the left side heading into 17 and 18 was exposed concrete barriers. If your backend came out from under you coming out of 16 and you pinched it too hard trying to control the slide you were hitting the barrier. Which is exactly what happened to me.

FYI - Tires will do as much damage as Concrete! I still have my smashed door and bent steering rack from a solo spin at BW a few years back! Shocked
