Too many project cars, a kid playing high school sports, lack of space, and teenage braces are prodding me to reluctantly put this up for sale. Restoration finished in January 2008. Taken out of 30+ year storage for a complete rebuild. Powdercoated frame, aluminum floorpan, all new gauges, belts, fire system and master cylinders. All flexible brake lines are -3. New upholstery for seat, new Lexan windshield. Carburetor and front spindles by Dietmar. Original Armstrong shocks rebuilt by Wayne Mitchell. Could use a new set of Avons and a good alignment. Spares include extra engine, transaxle, exhaust, mid '70's Goodyear slicks mounted on original smoothie rims. Has VARA logbook. Ran one day of open practice with VARA back in February. One of my goals was to keep this a real time capsule- it still wears the original paintwork it had when it ran the Runoffs in Atlanta in 1971. $5,000. Rene (661) 259-5476.
